Dr. Kim M. Morita, DDS
Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene and DDS degrees from Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, and is a graduate of UCLA’s General Practice Residency program. She is a former Assistant Professor at Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in the department of Dental Hygiene, and at UCSF School of Dentistry predoctoral Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences.
Dr. Morita earned national academic honors from OKU (Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society). She received the Academy of Osseointegration award for outstanding achievement in implant dentistry. She was also the recipient of the Professionalism award in her undergraduate dental hygiene class for her embodiment of the highest ethical and professional standards. Kimi’s father was a well-known orthodontist in her hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii, and her brother Scott is also part of the Morita dental legacy.
Dr. Morita is a member of the American Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society and local study clubs.
Dr. Rachel Meek, Dmd
Rachel calls this area of the PNW home, having spent most of her childhood growing up in Newport Heights and the East Renton Highlands. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) before completing her dental degree with Honors at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland.
Dr. Meek is an enrolled member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and has spent a large part of her career caring for indigenous patients in tribal and Indian Health Service clinics. Dr. Meek’s practice focuses on using minimally invasive dentistry for patients of all ages and backgrounds. She cares deeply about providing her patients positive experiences that empower them to take control of their oral health, love their smile, and show dental anxiety who’s boss!
Dr. Meek is passionate about advocacy, life-long learning, and mentorship, as well. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Society of American Indian Dentists. She also serves as volunteer faculty for OHSU’s Wy’East Dentistry Pathway.
Dr. Meek adores spending quality time with her husband and two dogs, curling up with a good book, and cheering on the Seahawks and Kraken!
Dr. Lauren Pearce, DDS
Lauren, a Chicago native, recently relocated to Spokane with her husband and children. They enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and camping. Dr. Pearce splits her time between private practice and teaching at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Spokane. She shares a long-standing friendship and professional bond with Dr. Morita, united by their passion for biomimetic and minimally invasive dentistry. They regularly attend continuing education events together and prioritize ethical, patient-centered care.
Dr. Pearce earned her bachelor's degree in biology and her dental degree from The Ohio State University, where she received multiple scholarships and participated in clinical research. She completed a prestigious general practice residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, focusing on complex restorative and prosthodontic procedures. After six years in private practice in Chicago, she spent two years in Los Angeles, working with top dental professionals and adopting modern techniques.
Julie | Patient Care Coordinator
Julie is a Seattle, WA native. Shortly after high school, she joined the field of dentistry and never looked back! She has been an integral part of this practice for over 32 years and is the friendly face you see when you walk in the office. She loves the variety and flow of dentistry and being able to help patients achieve their health goals. Her favorite weekend hobbies include beading, playing the piano and gardening. She has two amazing boys and a supportive husband. “It is gratifying to see patients smile and to know that our office has helped them to achieve their dental needs and health.”
Tanya | Office Manager
Tanya is from Snohomish, WA and has been in the dental field for 30 years. She graduated from Lake Washington Institute of Technology and earned her Certified Dental Assisting credential with the Dental Assisting National Board. As an office manager, she loves helping patients achieve their oral health goals financially and have the smile they want. Her weekend hobbies include Seahawks, and spending time with her husband and wonderful two sons. On that rare sunny day, she loves to take out her convertible and go for a drive.
Delia | Dental Assistant
Delia grew up in Clug, Romania moved to Washington in 1998 and currently lives in Renton. She completed her dental assisting program in 2002 and has a broad dental assisting experience from general dentistry, implants, oral surgery and general anesthesia. One of her favorite things to do in dentistry is the bioclear bonding technique which is a composite bonding to help restore teeth in a healthy minimally to non-invasive way. In her spare time she loves health, nutrition, exercise, reading and spending time with her son who is completing college this year at University of Washington. Her life motto is to uplift and love!
Hope | Dental Assistant
Hope lives in Renton, WA with her wonderful daughter. She has over 20 years of dental experience and has been working in our Forest Office Park complex for over 15 years. She has an extensive dental background and earned her Certified Dental Assisting credentials from Renton Technical College. Her favorite thing about the dental field is working one-on-one with patients, and making them feel comfortable in the dental setting. When Hope is not working, she is hiking, cooking, baking delicious cookies or gardening. She also loves traveling and spending quality time with her daughter.
Holly | Dental Hygienist
Holly was born in Michigan and grew up in Las Vegas, NV. She attended the College of Southern Nevada and received both a Dental Hygiene degree and a BS in Dental Hygiene Education. She loves educating her patients on their oral health and believes that creating a healthy oral environment leads to overall better health. Prior to working in dentistry she was in the Veterinary field for 20 years. Fun fact – as a veterinary technician, Holly cleaned dogs and cats teeth! Her weekend hobbies include exploring her new home state of Washington with her partner, travel, concerts Disneyland and her cat.
Jen | Dental Hygienist
Jen was born and raised in Washington and has lived in Kirkland, Woodinville, and now Redmond. She holds a degree in psychology from the University of Washington and a Dental Hygiene degree from Yakima Valley Community College. Jen is deeply passionate about connecting with people and helping them improve their health through personalized care and education. She believes in making dentistry approachable—using visual aids and plain language to explain complex topics and ensure patients feel informed and confident. Jen takes great pride in helping patients better understand their current health and supporting them on their path forward. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for her two cats, being around animals, scrapbooking, card making, gardening, organizing, cleaning, and the occasional spontaneous adventure.
